You Bike 3.0

YouBike (Ubike) is a public bicycle-sharing service offered by the Taipei City government in a BOT collaboration from 2009. As a “bikoholic”, I invited 7 city bikers like me and explored the users' needs with multiple participatory research methods. Based on the two main motivations: exercise and commute, I improved the YouBike 2.0 app by integrating the personal exercise tracking and navigation of public transportation. YouBike 3.0 creates personal motivations and riding behaviors for citizens which is suitable for the riding environment in Taipei City.
